Hi, this is my first post here. I subscribed to this community a while ago but then forgot about it until [personal profile] berangere's recent post.

Someone linked me to an interesting article recently about apparently-respectable evidence for humans in North America before the Clovis period that had been the earliest confirmed date:

Thank you for this link. I do not know anything about the american continent prehistory so I found it really instructive.
It seems that most of the researchers interviewed were a little dubious instead of enthusiat. It was quite strange since the begining of the article insisted on the fact this sort of sites were looked for for a long time.
What is interesting is that the first inhabitants of the american continent did not let more "footprints". But maybe archaeologist were not looking in the right places ?
